The stained-glass window of the chapel of Pena Palace (Sintra) has been mounted after the restauration works.
It represents King Manuel, Vasco da Gama, Our Lady of Penha and Saint George, and was ordered by King Ferdinand II in Nuremberg (1840-41). With this window, King Ferdinand assumed his artistic and political purpose of connecting with the manueline period.
