Évoramonte castle was built under the orders of King Dinis, in 1306, then was much damaged by the earthquake of 1531 and rebuilt during the reign of King João III.La chateâu-fort de Évoramonte a été construit pendant le royaume de D. Dinis, en 1306. Plustard à été très endomagé par le tremblement de terre de 1531 et reconstruit par D. João III.
